Established in Moknine in 1990, our company has specialized in the manufacture and sale of handmade terracotta products. By combining artisanal and industrial aspects, we produce more than 1000 articles per month, including hand-painted pots, outdoor pots, indoor pots jars, urns, and various decorative objects. The ‘handmade’ and ‘respect for the environment’ principles we stand for The notion of “handmade” is omnipresent in our company to keep a touch of authenticity in our production. Open for export for a few years, we are pervasive in fairs and foreign markets: in the Maghreb, Europe, Australia, Asia, and the United States.
THE FAMILY STORY
It was in 1960 that the founder Mohamed Sassi embarked on the production of artisanal pottery, then his son, Sami Sassi,developed this familiar heritage by creating a bigger pottery factory in 1995.
Aware of the great potential of our fathers’ creations, the current four brothers have developed this familiar heritage by creating in 2010 The Sassi Pottery Company.
Our company is a family company resulting from the effect of the experience led by professionals in the field, we were born and raised in a family that works in the pottery crafts with more than 150 years of experience, therefore, the partners are the members of the family now(who are the father and the 4 brothers)
